Mike's normal office hours are from 7:30 am - 4 pm on Wednesday and Thursday during the academic school year. He works 16 hours per week during the school year.
Michael P. Garofalo, M.S., manages five elementary school libraries, is the webmaster for five school websites and the CUESD District website, and supports technology training and educational technology. As the District Grants Coordinator he researches and identifies grant opportunities; writes, edits and assembles new grant applications; provides budget support for many awarded grants, and has managed some awarded grants for the CUESD. He has been involved with successfully writing and managing over $4,400,000 in grants to the CUESD since 2004. Mr. Garofalo has worked for the CUESD since 1999.
Mike Garofalo retired as a Library Administrator for the County of Los Angeles Public Library in 1998. He has worked as a librarian, library manager, or library administrator for over 44 years. Mike's hobbies include walking, gardening, mind-body movement arts, blogging, and web publishing at Green Way Research. His websites have served up over 26 million webpages to persons around the world, and he has been publishing online on the Internet WWW since 1996. Mike teaches Yoga, Taijiquan, Qigong and senior fitness classes at the Tehama Family Fitness Center in Red Bluff.
